Who thought making restaurant style Shahi Paneer at home would be so easy! All thanks to Everest Shahi Paneer Masala which helps to give that restaurant-style zing to your homemade Shahi Paneer. And making it at home is so easy.
Ingredients I used:
3 onions, roughly chopped
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
2 green chillies
1 tbsp magaz seeds/melon seeds
2 tbsp cashews/kaju
3 tomatoes, roughly chopped
2 tbsp oil + butter
2 bayleaves
2 cardamom
1/2 inch cinnamon
6 peppercorns
3 cloves
-1/2 tsp red chilli powder
salt as needed
250g paneer
1 tbsp Everest Shahi Paneer masala - 2tbsp fresh cream
1/4 tsp Kasuri methi
Procedure:
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add onions, ginger garlic paste, green chillies, melon seeds and cashews . - Fry till the onions turn slightly pink and add tomatoes.
Cook till tomatoes are mushy and blend it all together in a smooth paste.
In the same pan, heat a mix of oil and butter and add your whole spices.
Add red chilli powder and your onion tomato paste. Mix well.
Add your paneer cubes and 1 tbsp Everest Shahi Paneer masala.
Add fresh cream, kasuri methi, salt as needed.
Serve hot with rotis/parathas. Enjoy!
