What happened to Meera Bai at the end?
There are many stories which has different beliefs of Meera bai's end. Lord Krishna's one of the very greatest devotee during Bhakti Movement.

One story says that there were many allegations on Meera bai because of which she was punished to leave the Mewad. Fearless Meera bai accepts the punishment and left Mewad by chanting the name of Lord Krishna. As soon as she left Mewad state, the entire Mewad state faced heavy and tremendous drought, all the citizens of the state were in terrible tension. All together asked king for the help but even king couldn't do anything. The one of the sage of mewad told to the king, that because Meera bai left the Mewad we all are facing this Dilemmas situation. She is really the great devotee of lord Krishna & all the allegations are false, she never had wrong perception for Mewad or for anyone else.

King decides to bring Meera bai back to Mewad, but now it was difficult to bring Meera bai because Meera bai left Mewad long ago & nobody knows where she is right now. King prays to sage to which sage answers that you can find devotee only at the doors of lord. ordered his soldiers to find Mira Bai in the temples of Lord Krishna. After all, after several days of searching for Meera Bai, she found in the temple of Shrikrishna singing bhajans (hymns) with other devotees in the nearby village. Soldiers then requests Meera bai to come with them as king Bhoj your husband is calling you & described the situation of mewad.

Meera Bai agreed on the proposal and started moving back towards Mewad. She is close to Mewad's main entrance. And as soon as she put her first foot inside the gate of the trunk, suddenly a very stormy weather arose, in which there were loud electric lightning, heavy wind blowing and then rain started showering. Each and every person, animals & birds of Mewad were extremely happy because of rain, all together came started dancing with full of joy. Meera bai was happily dances with singing the lord's name Krishna Krishna. One person of the village notice that Meera bai is not there, she was suddenly disappeared or got invisible they found the Ektara(one string) and Kartaal(cymbal) of Meera bai on the ground. Thus, this is describes the end of Meera bai
