If you're thinking of digitizing your old VHS or camcorder tapes, the ClonerAlliance ViewLite AV is an easy-to-use all-in-one option. While it could be the right choice for someone who wants to get their videos digitized quickly and easily, I don't recommend it for someone aspiring to digitize their precious home movies using one of the methods recommended by the experts at DigitalFAQ or VHS-Decode Project.
