Here's a little more to go on: 1| Digital Business Cards - these are game changers for people you meet and people you give cards to! Much easier to keep track of.
2| Prep some open ended questions - this helps keep the conversation going.
3| Remember Everyone is Important - don't just try to talk to people that are casting directors or agents. Treating everyone like they're your peer keeps the nerves down and helps you not miss connections that could lead to great relationships.
4| Just jump in the deep end - it's always scary "on the way" somewhere. Think of yourself already done with the event. Most of the time it's never as scary as we think.
5| Don't forget to follow-up with people you meet. The goal should be to create long term relationships.
