Irish traveller families face being evicted from greenbelt land in Essex today after a bitter 10 year dispute. The deadline for them to leave the site in Basildon passed at midnight. If they don't move on the local council says they will be forcibly removed. It would be the UK's biggest gypsy eviction & is fiercely opposed by human rights campaigners. Jason Farrell reports Travellers to be Evicted After 10 Years on August 31, 2011 in Basildon, England
