🛣 To solve these issues, the UP Government is undertaking a massive infrastructure push. The state has the biggest operational, under construction and approved expressway network in India. UP has 7 cities with operational and under-construction metro systems. UP has more cities with metro than the 5 southern states combined. In a few month’s time, UP will get India and Asia’s biggest airport. UP is also leading the way in Dedicated Fright Corridors, Railways and Regional Rapid Transport Systems.

📈 Infrastructure has a multiplier effect on the economy. For every rupee spent on infrastructure, it adds 2x - 3x into the economy in the long term. UP is also building infrastructure to connect UP with the ports in Western and Southern India through a faster route.
