Conclusion
This is a preciouse little slippery Olympus Stylus digital camera.
You really doing good to use the wrist stap during handling and operating.
The camera body is made out of gold colored eloxated aluminum and stainless steel.
The camera starts quick as soon you slide the front lens cover door to the side.
In the same moment when using the backside buttons it can happen that you touching the sliding door accidentally
just a litle bit and the camera switches off.

It happened to me including during handling here.
The buttons at the back side are small and I guess due to the usage
the switch point is deeper than you would expect.
Users with tiny fingers may don't have a problem.
The menue is Olympus-like and logical.
I was impressed about the xD Picture Card compartment, which features an additional latch to secure the card to stay in the slot.
I guess because the main compartment door at the right side is weather sealed and opens very easy.
Olympus did good at that time to get away with the 1.5V AA battery power management.
Here we have a special Li-ion rechargeable battery, which is used in the Olympus Camedia C-770 Ultra Zoom and possible others as well.
If the battery is not neccessary old - you will have no issues with the power.
The Olympus lens has a usable zoom range and it seems like that the electronic, the sensor and the lens are very well matched together.

All in all this Olympus mju 300 digital is a fine usable fun compact camera with OKAY image results
if the light environment is bright enough to have short shutter speeds...

As alway - thanks for watching.
