Dhaka Power Distribution Company Limited (DPDC) has recently announced a recruitment circular for 47 contractual positions across three categories. Interested candidates are invited to apply online. Below are the details for the positions:

1. Position: Complaint Supervisor
• Number of Vacancies: 12
• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in customer service or relevant fields. Proficiency in computer operation is mandatory. No third division or equivalent GPA/CGPA is acceptable.
• Job Type: Three-year contractual with a renewable option up to 60 years of age.
• Salary & Benefits:
o Basic salary: BDT 27,000/month
o 60% house rent allowance (50% for Narayanganj and Gazipur city areas)
o 10% medical allowance or a minimum of BDT 2,000/month
o BDT 3,500/month for transportation
o Other benefits include two annual bonuses, Bengali New Year allowance, contributory provident fund, group insurance, leave encashment, gratuity, and additional benefits as per company policy.

2. Position: Senior Accounts Assistant
• Number of Vacancies: 15
• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Business Studies. Candidates with knowledge of financial management software will be preferred. Proficiency in computer operation is essential. No third division or equivalent GPA/CGPA is acceptable.
• Job Type: Three-year contractual with a renewable option up to 60 years of age.
• Salary & Benefits:
o Basic salary: BDT 24,000/month
o 60% house rent allowance (50% for Narayanganj and Gazipur city areas)
o 10% medical allowance or a minimum of BDT 2,000/month
o BDT 3,000/month for transportation
o Additional benefits similar to those provided for Complaint Supervisors.


3. Position: Switchboard Attendant
• Number of Vacancies: 20
• Qualifications: HSC or equivalent in Science. Preference will be given to candidates with certifications in Power Technology/Electrical Technology/Mechanical Technology from government institutions. Proficiency in computer operation is mandatory. No third division or equivalent GPA/CGPA is acceptable.
• Job Type: Three-year contractual with a renewable option up to 60 years of age.
• Salary & Benefits:
o Basic salary: BDT 25,000/month
o 60% house rent allowance (50% for Narayanganj and Gazipur city areas)
o 10% medical allowance or a minimum of BDT 2,000/month
o BDT 3,000/month for transportation
o Other benefits as mentioned above.


Age Limit
As of January 15, 2025, the maximum age for applicants is 32 years. For existing DPDC employees, the age limit may be relaxed by up to five years.
