Struggle for Ram Mandir in Ayodhya

The History of Ayodhya city is centuries old, since it is the birth place of Lord Shri Ram.. The present day Ayodhya city was built in the 1st century BC by King Vikramaditya. In the 16th century the Mughal invader Babur’s army demolished the ancient Ram mandir and converted it into a Babri Masjid.

When the city was attacked by the Babur’s army, that time temple priest Mahatma Shyamanand took the Samadhi in the Saryu river along with lord Ram idols. Around 1 lakh 74,000 died in the struggle to save the temple from brutal army Babur.
In the last 500 years, there were around 75 small battles to get the control of Ayodhya mandir.

Our celebration won’t be complete without being thankful to these great souls from the past

Pandit Devideen Pandey mobilized the army of 90,000 Hindus to stop the invasion of Ram mandir.

-The King Ranvijay Singh, fought with his army of 25,000 soldiers, but got martyred.
-King Ranvijay’s wife, Rani Jairaj Kumari mobilized the army of 3,000 women and fought the guerilla war and got martyred along with her army.

-In 1858, Nihang Sikh army tried to enter and did puja in mandir.

Continuity of fight and sacrifices for the Ram Mandir, post independence. We should take our time to give our gratitude to a few prominent people who stand for dharma. The fight for Ram Mandir is not a fight or religion, it's a fight for our civilization. Lord Rama is known for his adherence to Dharma, which means righteousness or moral duty. He always stood for what was right, even at the time of adversity.
