Don't fear dying, fear not living. The uncertainty of death is deeply ingrained in our unconscious minds. Survival is an instinct that has been hardwired into our brains for eons. In civilized societies, we are not only burdened by the need for physical survival, but we also face challenges related to social survival. For some, the fear of rejection can feel as significant as the fear of physical death itself. In our quest for love and connection, we often encounter our ingrained survival instincts, which can lead us to push away the very things we desire most out of fear. Furthermore, our mental defenses, such as denial and repression, serve as survival techniques, but actually rob us of joy.

The layers of survival we navigate as human beings only intensify our fear of death. Every loss can be seen as a form of death, to some degree. Because survival is such an instinctive part of our humanity, it is easy to lose sight of what is truly important. It all gets mixed up in our minds.

The mystery of life and death is not easy to navigate, is it? We can be living our best lives, and yet at any moment, everything could change. We might also lose someone we can't imagine living without. Balancing the realities of life and death is undoubtedly challenging. It is when we believe they aren't intertwined that we become lost in fear.

Many people on their deathbeds experience regret for the things they didn't do or say, realizing that it is now too late. Don't live as if this life will never end, and don't let the fear of dying stop you from truly living.
