A great way to get out of #lasvegas for the day and explore nature's beauty is to go on a tour of the #grandcanyonnationalpark Depending on how much time you have you can choose to visit either the West Rim or the South Rim tour. If you have a whole day to dedicate to a trip, I highly suggest the South Rim tour.

For under $300 you can get out of the city and see the South Rim of the Grand Canyon from the ground and the sky via Gray Line bus & #papillon Helicopter tours. I booked my tour on www.canyontours.com for $275 and saved $20 compared to #Grayline's website.

Your day starts with hotel pick ups at designated hotels before beginning the 5 hour ride aboard a comfortable charter bus. A quick stop at a gas station and back on the road to Grand Canyon National Park.

After dropping everyone off for lunch I was dropped of at Papillon Helicopter tours with the other riders where we enjoyed an amazing 30 ride up to the North rim of the canyon. Our driver picked us up and had our lunches waiting for us.

We were dropped off with the rest of our tour and enjoyed the breathtaking views of Mather Point and Angelhead trail before boarding the bus to return to Las Vegas.

On the way back we stopped at a McDonalds on Route 66 for dinner. The last scenery to take in is a beautiful view of the Hoover Dam at night before hotel drop offs to end the tour. Note: last to be picked up in the AM are last to be dropped off. (the drop offs start on Fremont Street and end at the strip).
