apartment hunting in canberra 🏠 | a day in the life

Hi friends! Lucas and I were considering a move to Canberra at the beginning of this year, which actually didn't end up working out but we went down to our lovely Australian capital city for a day trip to inspect apartments and I filmed it.

The day trip was a heap of fun and we went to 4 inspections in total. We ended up being so tired but getting a really good idea of what Canberra is like - there's more than meets the eye ;) We were going to move for Lucas' work but he didn't need to end up moving in the end.

We were looking for a small 1bed apartment in a nice location for me to comfortably work from home for 6 months. I was actually surprised by how expensive rent was in Canberra and how competitive the rental market could be at the beginning of the year. I think it was a great idea in the end to go there and inspect in person because it gave us a lay of the land and we were able to speak to agents in person.
