Class of 2020 Induction Day

The sights and sounds of the Class of 2020 Induction Day including behind-the-scenes footage of in processing in Alumni Hall; the Welcome Aboard Picnic for parents, family and friends hosted by the Alumni Association and Foundation with members of the Another Link in the Chain Class of 1970; the Oath of Office Ceremony in Tecumseh Court; and the final farewells before Plebe Summer really begins for the incoming midshipmen. Induction Day or I-Day is the official name for the first day of Plebe Summer at the United States Naval Academy. Typically held in late June or early July, this is the day on which the members of the newest Naval Academy class arrive in Annapolis; for most, it is also their first day in the military.
