Today we introduce you to a compact sedan that is easy on the wallet, stylish and surprisingly good value. None other than the 2015 Kia Cerato no the roads of Dubai!

Exterior
Kia Cerato's designers have done a commendable job to make the car stand out from the competition. The front features and aggressive nose and headlamps, flanked by flashy LED daytime running lamps and fog lamps while the multilayered tail lamps look especially cool at night. The side silhouette is not striking, except for the mean looking alloys on the wheels which really help the car stand out from the corollas and tiidas.

Performance
The Cerato is equipped with both a 1.6 and 2 liter engine. We had the 2 liter version producing about 159 horsepower which is more than the average compact sedan will deliver, making it a reasonably fun car to drive. The 6 speed automatic transmission is responsive, especially in the first 2 gears, and has enough throttle as you move upwards to give you confidence on Dubai's roads. The optional paddle shifters surprised us on a car in this segment, and although they are more suited for bigger engines, it will still give you a quick high when you need it. In our opinion, if you want a more responsive drive, you should opt for the 2 liter engine.

Interior
While Mazda, Toyota and Nissan have spruced up their interiors, the Korean's really have done the most work on their cars. It shows in our Cerato, which had high quality black leather seating, a rear view camera, front and rear sensors, cooled seats, rear ac vents, electronic climate control, push button start and memory seats. The center console is slightly angled to the driver giving it you easy access to all the dials. The 4.2 inch supervision cluster between the gauges provides information on mostly everything you might need. We felt the fake carbon cover was unnecessary and cheapened it a bit but overall, we were very pleased with the options.

Comfort & Safety
There's a lot of comfort options inside, but it does raise the price of this value car. The front ventilated seats have 10 way driver seating and almost everything can be controlled from the steering wheel. The rear is reasonably spacious for this segment. Its built for 2 adults but 3 can fit fairly comfortably.
A rear camera, 6 airbags and electronic stability control make this a pretty safe car for the young family.
