Intro Script
Borderlands 2 has plenty of ways to get gear, such as farming the drop source, chests, vendors all that stuff, also gambling but don’t do that one trust me, but one method that is often overlooked as a little joke is the marcus shrine, where you effectively kill yourself for gear, you know where this is going, I tried to beat borderlands 2 with only marcus shrine gear

The rules for the run are simple
Only Gear from the marcus shrine
Bar is turned off
Vault Hunter relic is allowed (from my testing it doesn't make any difference)

Here’s how the run will work, When I need new gear, i’ll go to the marcus shrine and farm it and since the shrine doesn’t scale with your levels, I’ll just set the gear to my level with gibbed, I think this is the best way to do it, rather than playing UVHM at level 80 because then there’s no reason to farm and in my mind the purpose of the challenge is lost

I played maya because… well you know why I played maya for this

And this time First I farm gear on another maya save, I decide on level 7 for this gear because I think it’s a decent level for flint and easily obtainable, also I really didn’t want to farm more than one set of gear for southern shelf, I got a nice three way hulk, a torgue assault rifle, a purple hyperion smg, a jakobs sniper and some random shield, class and grenade mod. I did it this way because I don’t think it’s possible to get a gearless maya through flynt or the bloodshot damn so yeah cool right

Then with the maya for the run I went to digi peak to get level seven early and It did NOT go my way. I just got spitter after spitter after spitter after spitter and was making no progress, at some point I really started to lose it eventually my luck turned I finally got to level 7, got the gear I farmed transferred over and started southern shelf
