In today's vlog, we celebrated the Raksha Bandhan festival with our family. We had a lot of fun, enjoyed delicious food, and overall, our day was amazing.

Rakshabandhan- Raksha Bandhan, often simply called Rakhi, is a traditional Hindu festival that celebrates the bond between brothers and sisters. The name "Raksha Bandhan" translates to "the bond of protection." It is observed in Hindu month of Shravan, usually falling in August.

During the festival, sisters tie a decorative thread, known as a Rakhi, around their brothers' wrists as a symbol of love, protection, and commitment to each other. In return, brothers give gifts to their sisters and pledge to protect and support them throughout their lives. The festival is not limited to biological siblings; it can also be celebrated between cousins, close friends, or anyone who shares a bond similar to that of a brother and sister.
