Many of the side roads off Overseas Highway US1 are just barely above sea level and that even during high astronomical tides flood but not to this level. Major Hurricane Helene is proving herself as a powerful hurricane.

With this early display of impact quite far from the center of circulation, should we rename the storm Hellene rather than Helene?
