Today I'm sharing my first experience of making Lady fingers or Savoiardi cookies recipe.

🛒What you need:
2 eggs (medium-sized)
a pinch of salt
granulated sugar - 60 g
vanilla sugar - 8 g
flour - 60+ g
cornstarch - 10 g

A 17 x 15 inch baking tray

⚠️ The amount of flour depends on its sort. Therefore you may need a bit more. As for me, I had to add around 80 g.

📝How to make:
▪️ Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°)
▪️ Separate egg whites and yolks
▪️ Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until foam
▪️ Add half of the sugar, 1 tbsp of lemon juice and continue beating until stiff
▪️ In a separate bowl beat egg yolks with the remaining sugar and vanilla sugar until white and fluffy
▪️ In batches fold the egg whites into the egg yolks until well combined
▪️ In batches add the sifted flour+cornstarch into the mixture
▪️ Fold in the dry ingredients until smooth
▪️ Transfer the batter to a piping bag
▪️ Pipe the batter on the baking sheet (about 4-inch long and 1-inch wide and 2-inch distance from one another)
▪️ Dust the batter pipes with powdered sugar
▪️ Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden
▪️ To get crispy cookies let them cool in the oven after the heat is turned off.
