Keighley & Worth Valley Railway - Diesel Gala 2023 - 24/06/23

A Scottish selection for this year's Diesel Gala at the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, with guests featuring LSL operated 47712 'Lady Diana Spencer' along with LSL's ScotRail Mk3 Push-Pull set, and a pair of Class 37/4s, in the form of 37403 'Isle of Mull' from the SRPS, and 37401 'Mary Queen of Scots' from DRS, the latter of which standing in for Class 26 26038 'Tom Cliff', marking a return to the railway for the loco following 37401's visit for the 50th Anniversary Gala in 2018.

The event also welcomed guest Class 14 D9520 and RailAdventure Class HST Powercars 43468 and 43480 to the line. A number of diesels within the KWVR home fleet made appearances throughout the weekend, including Railfreight Grey pair Class 37 37075 and Class 20 20031.
