[4K] Buffalo Falls at Tornado Springs, join us as we race down this exciting water slide attraction at Paultons Park, climbing to the top of the falls before splashing back into the heart of Tornado Springs with fantastic views across the 1950s Midwest town and Peppa Pig World.

Buffalo Falls is a Waverunner style water slide ride manufactured by Metallbau Emmeln and located in the Tornado Springs area of Paultons Park. Originally opened in 2003 as Wave Runner, the ride was fully rethemed and renamed Buffalo Falls when Tornado Springs opened in April 2021.

Riders board a two person dinghy and climb approximately 90 steps to the top platform before being released down the bumpy water slide. Buffalo Falls offers sweeping views across Tornado Springs and towards Peppa Pig World with an on ride photo available for purchase at the photo shop near the exit.

Height restrictions for Buffalo Falls require guests to be at least 0.9 metres tall. Guests under 7 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult. There is a maximum of two people per dinghy and only one rider can be an adult.

Tornado Springs is one of the largest themed lands at Paultons Park and is designed as a 1950s American Midwest desert resort town inspired by storm chasing culture. Major attractions in the area include Storm Chaser, the Mack spinning coaster, Cyclonator, Windmill Towers, Al’s Auto Academy driving school, Farmyard Flyer junior coaster, Trekkin Tractors and the Rio Grande Train. The land also includes Junkyard Junction and Parking Lot Tots play areas, Route 83 Diner and Al’s Shop and Service.

Paultons Park, located in Hampshire’s New Forest, is home to over 70 rides and attractions across themed lands including Peppa Pig World, Lost Kingdom, Tornado Springs and Critter Creek. Peppa Pig World opened in 2011 as the world’s first Peppa Pig themed land and continues to be one of the most visited family areas in the UK theme park industry.

Paultons Park is preparing to open its newest themed land, Valgard: Realm of the Vikings in 2026. The Viking themed area is currently under construction and is being built on the former site of the Go Karts, Dragon Roundabout and Magma. Valgard will introduce three major attractions. Drakon will be the park’s first ever inverting roller coaster built by Gerstlauer. Raven will be a reborn family coaster integrated into the Viking storyline. Vild Swing will be the UK’s first ART Engineering Wild Swing, a 12 metre tall Top Spin style ride powered by electric motors with 16 individual seats and no rollovers. The land will also include a Viking themed playground and a Nordic dining hall.

Looking beyond Valgard, Paultons Park is also developing its first on site hotel and a major new water ride planned for 2027, announced at the Super Fan event. These developments continue the park’s transformation into a multi day family destination and reinforce its position as one of the leading theme parks in the UK.
