Hello. I will show you how to create a simple blink transition between two images in Canva.

Step 1: Create a new video project. Add your first background image to Page 1 and your second image to Page 2.

Step 2: On Page 1, add two black rectangle shapes. Position one to cover the top half of the page and the other to cover the bottom half.

Step 3: Select both black shapes. Apply the "Wipe" animation. Set the top shape to wipe down and the bottom shape to wipe up. Set both to trigger "On enter" for the page. Adjust the page duration so the animation completes quickly.

Step 4: Go to Page 2. Again, add two black shapes covering the top and bottom halves.

Step 5: Select the shapes on Page 2. Apply the "Wipe" animation, but this time set them to trigger "On exit". Set the top shape to wipe up and the bottom shape to wipe down.

Preview your design. The first page will blink to black, and the second page will blink in from black. Your blink transition is complete. Thank you for watching.
