Got ATTACKED in Pachmarhi | Road Trip across Madhya Pradesh

Anyone planning to visit Pachmarhi should first go straight to bison lodge where you can book your Gypsy and get a guide but most important is that there is a museum which contains detailed information of all tourist points around Pachmarhi. Go to the museum and make your own itinerary, Don't rely on your gypsy driver as they get a fixed amount of fuel from the gypsy owner and they try to take you to points only that are close to pachmarhi. Also all Gypsy here don't have a roof so the ride could really be very draining especially in summer season. Gypsy charges for a day are 1700 plus it is mandatory to take a guide which costs 600. So you will have to pay a total of 2300 for one day.

If you choose to take your own vehicle then you will be charged Rs 50 per person but you will be stopped at the checkpoint of the forest department from where you will have to trek till the view point. At Bee falls you will have to trek for a km but at Dhoopgarh (which is a famous sunset point)you will have to walk for 8kms. For that very reason I skipped Dhoopgarh and went to rajendra giri park which is also a famous sunset point.

Road condition : All trails that I drove that took us to different view points were in quite good condition but the road is very narrow so you need to be careful at blind corners.
