A huge asteroid is going to hit Earth in the future. Yes! That is not just a vague prediction, but a fact! There are lots of asteroids in the solar system and they frequently collide with planets in the solar system. Asteroids in the size of a small car hit earth at least once in every single year. These type of asteroids are no harm to earth because thanks to our excellent atmosphere, they never reach Earth's surface. They will be completely vaporized in the atmosphere. But, once in every few hundred million years, extremely huge asteroids with more than 10 km in diameter will hit Earth.
