This sessions works to familiarize itself with Zoroastrianism and the role that their priests (the Magi) hold in regards to the history of the magical tradition. How did the Magi relate to the divine? Were they exorcists? Botanists? Shamanic even?

Ultimately this investigation leads to some very nuanced observations of the nativity scene, giving us a novel understanding of the intricacies at play and why the Magi appear in the bible in the way that they do and why at all for that matter.

By virtue of the limits of what is known of the specificities of their practices, this session doesn't have the opportunity to divulge their exact ceremonies. However, it does uniquely inform us, in a fundamental way, how Christianity would become such a monolithic force in the future, and ultimately shows us to the end of the underrepresented past of the magical tradition (Sumer, Assyria, Medea).
