Ambient sounds of the rain-soaked streets of Berlin, Germany, somewhere between the districts of Mitte and Tiergarten. On April 30, 1945, little more than the Spree River separates the Soviet juggernaut from a decaying, cornered German Reich. A heterogeneous mix of Heer infantry, Waffen-SS elite troops, and Panzergrenadiers still maintains a tenuous grip on the administrative and government buildings in the heart of the capital, but their fall is now only a matter of hours in the face of Soviet soldiers determined to put an end to the “Thousand-Year Reich.”

For this mission, Sergeant Barnes has been specially attached to a Red Army unit as part of an OSS intelligence operation. Barnes must infiltrate the heart of the capital, recover documents carried by an OSS pilot shot down in flight, and then make his way toward the Chancellery.
