Umno deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan yesterday, Wednesday, January 11, explained why the party had chosen to cooperate with Pakatan Harapan instead of Perikatan Nasional to form the unity government after the 15th General Election.

In his speech at the launching of the party's Wanita, Youth and Puteri movements' delegates' conference, Mohamad said the party found that it was difficult to cooperate with a coalition whose existence was to bury Umno in the country's political landscape.
