This process, which Avista Oil (U.S.A.) bought a license from Enprotec Vaxon (Denmark) in 2010 and patented under the name of Avista Oil Solvent Extraction – VaxonTM Technology; chemical treatment consists of vacuum distillation and solvent separation stages. Group-I quality base oils can be obtained by using this process in the Dollbergen-Uetze and Kalundborg facilities of the organization.
