This course on Solid State Physics (also called Condensed Matter Physics) is designed for students studying at Undergraduate / B.Sc. level in Indian Universities. I have always felt that there is a lack of standard and comprehensive source/study materials in Hindi for students enrolled in Undergraduate Physics / B. Sc. Physics Courses and this series of “B.Sc. Physics” Lectures is my attempt to provide students from every corner of the country with standard resources to pursue their love for Physics. That being said, these lectures are going to be extremely helpful for students preparing for JAM, UPSC, BPSC and other exams with Physics as their subject.
This course on Solid State Physics has been designed after studying the Syllabus of some prestigious universities and I have tried to cover almost everything that is commonly taught in this course across India. I will be posting a new lecture every Saturday and if need be one on Sunday, so a maximum of two lectures will be posted every week. This gives students enough time to pace the course according to their convenience and read reference books for deeper and comprehensive understanding.
