I've come to the conclusion that it is going to be hard to ever make a profit with my farm and ranch here in South Central Alaska. A combination of weather, lack of agricultural infrastructure, cost of inputs and other factors make it very hard to make money farming or ranching in South Central Alaska, and especially when you are starting from scratch like I am.
