"The parallels between the Space Wolves and Thousand Sons have been discussed aplenty. But what makes those parallels a net positive is that the Legions are also genuinely different, each working as a concept on its own, rather than lazy mirrors of each other. And so it is with the greatest sons of Magnus and of Russ. Bjorn, left by his Primarch on Fenris to preserve his brothers, dead in body but risen to serve again as a Dreadnought, and Ahriman, exiled from Sortiarus by his Primarch for trying to save his brothers, and instead killing their minds and leaving them as animate suits of armor. I originally wasn't thinking of outright syntactic ambiguity in the way it came about, where the lyrics could be either of their words, and maybe it won't work musically, but it was very much meant to be a song about both fathers and both prodigal sons."
