Treatment:
**Address underlying causes**: Treating the root cause, such as weight loss in obesity or managing insulin levels in diabetes, can improve the condition.
**Topical treatments**: Creams containing ingredients like retinoids, urea, or salicylic acid may help reduce skin thickness.
**Medical treatments**: In some cases, laser therapy or oral medications may be recommended.
