2022 Hensel Phelps NorCal Field Engineer Bootcamp

More than just a game – this year’s ninth annual Northern California Field Engineer (FE) Bootcamp saw our newest employees gather in Pleasanton, California for four days of training. With a vintage video game theme, 2022’s Bootcamp started at the NorCal District Office where the instructors gave classroom presentations followed by training at five stations to give participants an opportunity to get hands-on with the tools, equipment, processes, and relationship development skills they will need on the jobsite.

Day three saw the engineers head out to the project site to build the formwork for their radius slab, while day four was pour and strip day. As with previous years, the 2022 NorCal Bootcamp was a huge success with participants learning new skills while strengthening their relationships and having a bit of fun in the process.
