First calculate si

10 % means 1000

5% means 500 for one year

So for 2 year total si is 1000

It takes hardly 5 to 10 seconds

Now check options

CI should be certainly more than this 1000 And close to it. 1000 plus

Ci is actually interest on interest. Hence calculate 5 % of 500 which is first year interest.

10% of 500 is 50 so 5 % is 25

The total ci is eqyal to si plus 25

So si equal to 1000

And ci equal to 1025.

I takes another 10 seconds maximum.

Within 20 seconds u should be able to answer this. In fact if u get familiar u know what could be answer by seeing options

For ex.

The options are ( si, ci)

A. 500, 1000

B. 1000, 1500

C. 1025, 1000

D. 1000, 1025

Here by seeing the options u can straight away remove two options

C cant be answer since si cant be more than ci

A and B have large difference so the only possible answer is D.
