How I Got a 7 in IB HL Biology + Notes PDF

✩ HOW I GOT A LEVEL 7 IN IB HL BIOLOGY ✩

1) Make notes - do this consistently throughout the entire programme!
2) Learn how to ask good questions - think about how a question could encompass specifically what you're confused about
3) Utilize diagrams - it's a great way to understand content in greater detail, especially if you're a visual learner
4) Summarize and condense your notes - one sheets, thematic notes, and mind maps are great ways to check your understanding of content
5) Practice, practice, practice - do lots and lots of practice questions, both when studying for unit tests and for the exams (and use past papers when preparing for the exams--especially the long answer questions from paper 2!)
6) Use the syllabus - it is your best friend! read through the understandings aloud and elaborate on each point, highlighting the ones that you are less sure of so that you can return to them

This video is a summary of how I achieved a level 7 in the IB HL Biology course. It is by no means the only way to get a 7, and honestly, my best tip is to study in a way that works for you and makes you feel passionate about the subject!

Please be respectful of the work that went into these notes--remember that making your own notes with a variety of resources is the BEST method to learn concepts and claiming someone else's work as your own is never a good idea. *there are definitely mistakes in my notes periodically (whether grammatical or content related), so make sure to ALWAYS consult other resources, check with a teacher, and make your own notes to solidify your understanding!
*keep in mind that I made my notes during the rigorous IBDP using a variety of resources (many are linked below), so not all words are my own
*also, my semester 2 and 3 full notes document is over 100 pages, so you need to download the pdf to be able to view it :)
