Stair Riser Connector Installation AU

Описание к видео Stair Riser Connector Installation AU

Welcome to this installation video for the Peak Stair Stringer Connector.
In this video you will learn just how easy it is to install your Peak Stair Stringers and Stair Stringer Connector.
First, let’s look at the tools and safety equipment needed to successfully install your Stair Stringers and Stair Stringer Connector.
Now, let’s get started.
On a flat surface, stand 2 stair stringers upside down, one in front of the other. Then Place the Stair Stringer Connector over the joint adjusting until it is fully seated.
Use 3 clamps to secure the Connector to the Stringers at each joint, then rotate the assembly 180 degrees so the Stringers treads are facing up.
Using an M11 drill bit for steel, drill through the top predrilled hole at the joint. Then fasten them together using an M10 bolt, nut and washer.
Locate the Square slots on either side of the Stair Stringer and Drill a 9-millimetre hole through each slot. Then thread 4 M8 bolts through the holes and fasten together using M8 nuts, washers.
Repeat these steps for each additional Stringer needed for your project.
Now, determining the location of all stair stringers ensuring the top tread support is 210 millimeters down from the deck surface.
The Peak Stair Stringers rigid design requires only 2 stringers for stairs spaced 950 millimeters wide.
Mark the position of the holes to be drilled while the peak stair stringer is in position.
Drill 9-millimetre pilot holes at the fastener locations. Then attach the stringer to the deck using a minimum M10 by 50-millimetre lag bolt. For concrete surfaces, drill an M10 pilot hole and use an M10 by 60-millimeter Ramset WERCS Ankascrew anchors.
Measure and Cut 90 by 90-millimeter wood posts, to between the connector and the deck surface. Then Fasten the 90 by 90-millimetre post to the ground surface using 90 by 90-millimeter Bolt Down or 90 by 90-millimeter Post Holder.
Next Secure the post to the connector using 4, M10 by 40-millimetre screws.
Brace the 90 by 90 millimeter supports by measuring and cutting 90 × 35-millimetre boards and attaching them using M10 by 65-millimetre screws. Additional braces are required if post Height divided by post spacing is less than 1.8 meters.
Once the stringers and supports have been secured you can now begin to add the stair treads.
Measure and mark tread boards for the placement of holes to be drilled. Then drill M8 holes through the board to allow for an M8 by 60-millimetre cup head bolt, nut and washers.
Start installing treads halfway up the stringer using M8 by 60-millimetre cup head bolts, nuts and washers. The remaining treads are installed in the same way.
And there you have it. You have successfully installed your Peak Stair Stringers.
