An update to my Xenochrophis pair - both are doing great, eating well and tolerating their parasite treatments. Unfortunately, subcutaneous nematodes must be manually removed. This is actually not as traumatic as it seems. The blade is sterile and is used to make a very quick incision just beneath the skin. Removal of the worm is as gratifying as popping a giant, gross pimple :)
