The Imenco ROV operated shackle is developed for safe and efficient
subsea connection and release of the shackle to Lifting Eyes, Master
Links or similar. The shackle consist of three main parts: Main Body, Lock Pin Assy and ROV Grab ring. The main body is machined in one piece from high strength stainless steel. The Lock Pin Assy includes a spring loaded Shackle Pin protected inside a bolted housing, a Lock Plate and a spring loaded Pin Retainer. The Lock Plate has two positions, unlocked (U) and Locked (L) providing mechanical locking of the Shackle Pin. The new Rov-operated halfautomatic shackle is produced in sizes 6,5T 12T, 17T, 25T, 35T, 55T, 85T and 150 tons.
