I haven’t made this journey in over 8 years but after all the sh**ty things I did this past year, I decided to make the trip. I’m sure Nick & Carol will be looking forward to seeing me.

I’ve had to abandon my car; battery gave out on me. Got no cell signal and stupidly didn’t pack a blanket so thought better to seek out shelter. I’d seen some cabins a few miles down the road so figured there’d be more nearby.

I hiked o’er some fields, eventually found some footprints and followed them, they looked relatively fresh.

Lead me to a lodge but the place is trashed - I don’t know what the f*** has gone on here! If I had any other choice I’d get out of here fast - but it’s my only hope of staying alive! I can’t feel my toes.

Nothing works but thankfully the fire’s lit, if only I had some chestnuts…
A little cat seems to live here, his nametag says ‘Skampür’ which is a weird name for a cat. He’s asleep, think I’ll just leave him be.

I’ll stay by the fire and maybe Ş̷̛̫̼͙͚̘̓̽̈́ȃ̴̢͎͕͇̱̖̕͜n̸͈̠̋̍́͐̀͛͝ṱ̸̨͔͉̺̬̾̉̇͐ͅã̷̡͇͕̝ ̷̢̪̯̥͋͝C̵̫̟̝͎̥̤̘̋͌̒̓̂͘ļ̵̧̟͇͓̦̖͒̈́̾͑̋̊a̸͉̟̖̒̈́̐̇ͅũ̶͉̖͇̳̝̻̇̐̊͛̃͐s̸̝͆̾̊͘ê̸͇̙̗͎͍̫͙͒́ will bring me a present tonight… It is Christmas Eve after all.
