VW ID.2 SUV (ID.2 X): Here’s what we know!

With Volkswagen committing to more projects that are invested in providing a pure-electric alternative to internal-combustion cars, cheaper models from the ID. line up is extremely important to the German automaker. While the brand has multiple cars around the EUR 40,000 (USD 43,000) price tag, there aren’t any around EUR 25,000 (appx. USD 27,000). Enter the VW ID.2 SUV!

With the popularity of crossover SUVs, especially of the electric variety, Volkswagen’s bet on the same genre should work wonders for the brand. From a modern and well-equipped cabin to VW’s MEB Entry platform, the production version of this electric SUV should have a cabin that’s roomy and more accommodating than its concept hatchback sibling.
