Senior Vice President of J&K People’s Conference and former Cabinet Minister Abdul Gani Vakil, has reacted strongly to the issue of prisoners lodged in different jails. Vakil said that all those detained should be released and brought back to Jammu & Kashmir. Vakil specifically questioned Mehbooba Mufti, asking that people must be informed how many individuals were lodged in jails during her tenure as Chief Minister, as well as during the tenures of Farooq Abdullah, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, and Omar Abdullah.
