Short summary: The Proposal (2009)
Margaret Tate, a strict New York book editor, faces deportation to Canada because of a visa problem. To save her career, she forces her assistant Andrew to fake a marriage with her. Things get complicated when they visit Andrew’s family in Alaska, where their fake relationship slowly starts to feel real. The story mixes comedy, romance and emotional moments as Margaret and Andrew discover how unexpected love can be.
