I am back with another fiery recipe from my Gujarat Street Food series! In this #Shorts video, I will be making one of Gujarat's famous street foods, the Kutchi Dabeli. This dabeli is a popular snack in Kutch and has become a sensation in Mumbai too. This famous Gujarati street food is truly a flavour bomb as it's sweet, spicy, tangy and also crunchy. You must try this Kutchi Dabeli recipe, as it's easy to make and will surely leave you craving for more!

For the Potato Filling:
2 tbsp Peanut oil
¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tbsp Red Chilli powder
3 tbsp Dabeli masala
Hot Water
6 medium-sized Potato (boiled)
Salt to taste
5-6 tbsp Khatti meethi chutney
½ tsp Cumin powder
1 tsp Coriander powder
1 tbsp Sugar

Assembly:
Fresh coconut
Fresh Coriander
Pomegranate
6 Ladi Pav
Khatti Meethi Chutney
Spicy Garlic Chutney
Masala Peanuts
Onions finely chopped
Butter
Sev

Method:
Heat oil in a pan, add in the masalas and cook for 1 minute on a low flame
Add a splash of water to make sure the masalas don’t burn and cook further
Add roughly mashed boiled potatoes along with water, salt, chutney and other masalas with sugar
Cook it down till it is a good mash and thickens for about 7-10 minutes
Spread the dabeli filling on a plate, top with coconut, coriander and pomegranate
Now assemble the dabeli as shown and cook it using butter on a tava till it gets a slight colour
Dip the edges in some sev and serve hot with a side of peanuts & onions
