🙏 New Year Prayer Inspired by Matthew 24

God,
As this new year begins, I come before You with humility and reverence.
Your Word warns us to be alert—to not be deceived by what looks good, sounds good, or feels familiar but pulls us away from You.

Lord, guard our hearts from the deception of this world.
Protect us from false comfort, false truth, and spiritual distraction.
Keep us awake, discerning, and rooted in Your Word.

Stir the fire within us again.
Set our hearts ablaze for prayer, for holiness, and for truth.
Call us back to consecration—not halfway, not lukewarm, but fully surrendered to You.

Help us not to follow the crowd, but to follow Christ.
Not to grow cold, but to grow faithful.
Not to be distracted, but devoted.

As this year unfolds, keep us grounded in You,
steadfast in prayer,
and anchored in truth.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
