Super Mario 63 - Any% TAS v2 in

Over 17 months ago, the first Any% TAS was released with a time of 5ː47.906. Since then, more than half the segments have been obsoleted resulting in a final time just over 10 seconds faster. A large portion of this timesave comes from a new strategy in Tutorial 1 Room 2 discovered by ‪@saplingdatree4111‬ called "water skip". The strategy was adapted by ‪@TomothySR‬ to use a triple jump dive buffer instead of a dash buffer, gaining greater speed in a shorter time, and a further improvement was found by ‪@nabstersm63‬ which used a nabstyle to avoid dive recovering entirely. All new strategies were found by one of these three runners with the exception of ‪@Vertic03‬, who beat the TAS RTA by 1 frame in 2 separate segments, and ‪@Vexxter‬, who TASed Tutorial 1 using the Ruffle emulator.
