Whatsup everybody! We had no idea that Kings Island was going to announce the grand opening of Adventure Port a day before we planned our vacation to visit Kings Island!

Kings Island in Mason, Ohio, has just opened a brand new section of the park titled Adventure Port. Adventure Port contains 2 new restaurants, 2 new flat rides, and a re-themed roller coaster.

The Restaurants:
The Mercado is a bar that contains 3 specialty cocktails and up to 15 draft beer selections.
Enrique's Cantina is a burrito bar that serves up a variety of Mexican-inspired food.

The Flat Rides:
Cargo Loco is a tea cups version of moving barrels with silly words written on the side of the barrels.
Sol Spinner is a small Ferris wheel-like ride that inverts and suspends riders 60 feet in the air at 25 mph.

The Re-Themed Roller Coaster:
Adventure Express has been re-themed to tell the story of a "Track Switch" gone wrong. The ride now features new scenery and props, as well as a new soundtrack.

Adventure Port is a great addition to Kings Island and is sure to be a popular destination for families and thrill-seekers alike.
