About
The song Backstroke is in it’s essence all about trust; not knowing whats ahead, not being able to see whats coming, but relying on the each other. To capture this, the vision for the video was to show the vulnerability and hopeful trust of youth. Three friends experiencing a day together, somewhere in-between reality and make-believe and testing their limits.

The filming involved two pretty action-packed days, including setting a car on fire (with a lot of help from the fire department!), a visit to the emergency room after the lead actor got a nail stuck in his arm, and trying to catch a chicken!

We were very lucky to have such talented friends to work with. A friend of ours Ilies Terki directed, filmed and edited the whole thing! The three stars of the video Sukie von Seld, Daniela Panchenko & Timo Jungemann were so easy-going, despite the chaos, and the whole (pretty small) team was made up of friends, or friends of friends.
