My 10th Visual Journal created 2018-2019

This art journal has a lot of great drawing in it. It is probably the closest to a sketchbook I've done in a long time. What I mean by that, is it has less multimedia experimentation with collage and watercolor and that sort of thing.

The strengths; I am very happy with the illustrations and artworks at the beginning for the two band albums. I had never been asked t do that sort of thing before and it was fun. I also really like the drawings I did of the animals and of the jiu jitsu battle. It reminds me that I need to draw more.

The weaknesses; It sort of fades out at the end. That is When I discovered acrylic pouring and it the visual journal becomes very text heavy with notes about products and painting techniques and paint recipes.

This book is the 10th of my visual journals. I have been in the practice for 14 years now and have created about 14 books brimming with art and journal entries and experiments and emotion. I have also been a teacher of visual journaling for over ten years.
