Truck Camper Build | DIY Nature's Head Composting Toilet Installation

Installing a Nature's Head composting toilet in my DIY truck camper should have been easy, but I didn't leave myself enough space. When I built the camper I left a 20 inch wide area for the 19 inch wide toilet. I knew I needed room on one side of the toilet to rotate the handles, but I didn't realize I needed room on the opposite side for the air intake and latch operation. I didn't like cutting into my new, expensive toilet, but I reduced the width by nearly an inch and that made the difference.

A lot of guys like to claim that they only need a toilet because they want their wife to go camping. I call bull💩 on that. Everybody poops and having a toilet opens up a lot more camping options and makes you a better camp neighbor.
