Warships, Submarines & Indigenous Platforms — including frontline vessels and marine assets deployed along the Kerala coast.

Aircraft & Air Assets — helicopters, surveillance aircraft, and possibly naval aviation assets flying overhead as part of aerial demonstration.

Special Forces & Tactical Demonstrations — commando operations, sea-to-land drills, amphibious manoeuvres, and rescue/respond drills to show how the Navy is prepared for multi-domain operations.

Weapon Systems & Maritime Defence Readiness — showcasing India’s self-reliant, combat-ready posture under the “Make in India” / “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” vision.

The celebrations coincide with Indian Navy Day, observed every year on 4 December in memory of the successful 1971 naval strikes during Operation Trident. This year, the operational demonstration was held on 3 December 2025 due to logistical arrangements.

The 2025 theme emphasises a “Combat-Ready, Cohesive, Credible and Aatmanirbhar Force,” underlining India’s maritime self-reliance and strategic maritime security goals.
