In this video I build the HEXAPOD EXPLORER kit from UGEARS. UGEARS make a wide range of mechanical models that you build yourself from pre-cut plywood. They are high quality engineering marvels and ideal for people who like challenging puzzles and building cool stuff.

The Hexapod Explorer kit is a six-legged robotic spider (or insect? - spiders should have 8 legs, right?) that walks by the power of a wound spring alone. There are 388 parts and is designed for model makers aged 14 and above.
